FAQ

The primary distinction between the Akeneo SFCC Connector and the FeatureMind SFCC App lies in the execution of XML transformation rules. The Akeneo Connector operates within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud instance, utilizing Jobs and Impex files, which can result in limited system resources and high latency for file I/O operations. In contrast, the FeatureMind App, situated between Akeneo and SFCC, operates on the AWS Cloud platform, delivering robust performance and enabling rapid generation of XML files.

The generation of XML depends on various factors within the catalog, including the quantity of products, categories, attributes, translations, and assets.
Below are some sample statistics based on our existing references.
SKUs up to daily 5,000 Delta products: less than 20 mins
SKUs up to daily 50,000 Delta products : less than 45 mins
SKUs up to daily 250,000 Delta products : less than 2 hours
SKUs up to daily 750,000 Delta products : less than 8 hours

SFCC Pricebooks are currently not included in the XML generation process but are planned for inclusion in the roadmap.

FeatureMind App supports media files stored in Akeneo, as well as asset links stored within a file storage system.

Configuring two system jobs is required: one job acts as a trigger by making an HTTP request, while the other handles the import of files generated by the FeatureMind app through impex. A Salesforce Commerce Cloud SFRA cartridge can be supplied upon request.
